CAN I BOOK A TRIAL SESSION?
Absolutely! Coaching works within a collaborative relationship between client and coach, so I offer a free 30-minute sample session call so that you experience coaching and we can check whether we're the right fit for each other. HOW MANY, HOW LONG AND HOW OFTEN ARE THE SESSIONS?
I recommend working together for an initial series of 6 sessions over 3 months. This gives you time to learn, try out and embed new tools and resources. Generally, sessions are 1 hour every 2 or 3 weeks according to what fits in best with your schedule.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO COACHING REMOTELY?
Very much so! In fact, most coaching around the world is done remotely via audio or video calls which work well. Clients tend to find it more convenient too. I use Facetime and Zoom. My timezone is GMT +7.
HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES?
This is an important one!
Coaching is not consulting, mentoring, therapy, or counselling.
- Consultants give strategic and expert advice and solutions. As your coach, I am not a problem-solver or adviser. You are the expert of your life and my role is to help you to see things clearly and empower you to make decisions.
- Mentors typically advise and support from their own experience. Coaching is learning from self-discovery. Coaching tools and techniques apply and serve you regardless whether I have any domain expertise in the subject matter.
- Therapists or Counsellors may focus on how past circumstances are linked to current emotional experience. Coaches recognise the importance of emotions that can make success elusive and the focus is always on shifting the energy of those emotions to serve you in the flow of your life.
